Appointments can be made by calling (630) 920-0900. Our Office Manager will assist you with your questions and scheduling. You can reach our 24-hour voice mail system when the office is closed. Staff members are available for phone calls only when not meeting with clients and will return your calls at the earliest opportunity. Each staff member has a confidential voice mailbox.
The Institute for Stress Control is committed to ensuring the safety of all our patients. We are pleased to offer both in-person and virtual sessions, however, our in-person office hours are limited. For our in-person sessions, we thoroughly clean and sanitize the office between every appointment. We also require face masks to be worn in the office at all times. We encourage clients to utilize the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the office. As much as possible, please limit the number of people coming to the office in accordance with social distancing practices. If you prefer to remain in the comfort of your home at this time, please request a virtual visit when making your appointment and we will be glad to serve you. We care about the health and safety of our clients and we are looking forward to supporting you through these unprecedented times.
Hours vary by day and staff member. Our sessions are typically 45 minutes in length, and we make every effort to be timely. The office is usually closed on major holidays.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately whenever possible, and we ask that you give us at least 24-hour notice. Clients with repeated cancellations are billed directly for missed appointments.
We cooperate with you to obtain insurance benefits. Our practice is a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. We ask that you contact your insurance prior to your first visit to determine benefits. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for all charges not collected from your insurance company.
Fees and Payment
We make every effort to charge reasonable fees for your care. Fees are expected at the time of service unless other arrangements are made. We accept cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard.
Information that you communicate to us will not be discussed with others without your knowledge and consent. Your records are confidential and will not be sent or shown to others without your signed consent, unless indicated by federal or state regulations. We are HIPAA compliant.
